Dance like Tony Manero.
Dressed to the nines,
The neon lights dazzle beneath my eyelids,
Blaring disco leaves a ring in my ears,
The constant dancing leaves me in ecstasy,
Mercury lights become dim,
I am left with the swirls illuminated in my mind,
With people grooving to the sound,
Not noticing they are kicking me in the shins,
It's all happening,
The heartbreaking lyrics pound in my head,
Because only the young can keep up,
And we feel ridiculously good looking,
But the tears and sweat made our makeup run,
Soon all these people will be spilling their lunch,
None of them could hold their booze,
The chirping birds could twitch
as we flew across the voiceless beach
hand in hand
with the most sinister of grins
and a cigarette pinned between your callused fingers
the fingers you use to brush your face
and wash your teeth
through the angst of our infatuation
and when the feathers of your wings
encounter mine and you look into my eyes
you touch them and feel
the fake porcelain gaze
we masquerade on the warmest of stars
that dazzle in hindsight
and help me forget that
in an hour
you will break my pudding heart
memories are nothing now. by 0comawhite0, literature

memories are nothing now.
memories are nothing
but a dusty oil painting, now
trademarked in my mind
sixteen years deracinating the roots
explicit thoughts of the place where
people say hello, and goodbye
where God's plans effect your life
forever
and you don't often walk out, the same
orange out-dated counters
walls of the dullest ashen
you're introduced to the world, or dismissed
abstract reflections of hockey player railings
and the aura of antibacterial
on flawless medicine cabinets
monuments so familiar
fabricated this town
to some people, this hell
this place will get the best
and the worst of me
or just the worst
so influential on the mel

"I stumbled apon you, and gratefully bask in your rays."
Yea, it's over. But I guess that's alright since I had a pretty flippin amazing summer. For those of you who have me on watch, and chose to read this, you'll be happy to know that creative writing will get my lazy ass actually doing some work, rather than posting pointless pictures of my new earring, hehe. I'm pretty stoked for this year, hopefully it'll be fun because all the electives I took this year I have never taken before..buuut I need a guitar before I can do guitar..oh well I have a whole semester to get one lol. Well this random rambling is coming to an end because I don't ha
I haven't done a journal entry in a while..and come to think of it I haven't really done a real entry of all the thoughts i note to myself during the days. So here it is. I have been listening to Tilly and the Wall a lot lately (I would highly recommend listening to them), and snowboarding. Friday is life or death race for the A team spot..how exciting. Sports school is fun, so is continuing ed, the people that go there are in all actualities very cool earthlings. But nonetheless, when i get up to Selkirk they say..."you go there?", as if to say, "that's the school for freaks". Well this is probably so boring for those of you who chose to rea
